How to change the PHP version for a domain in cPanel or WHM

 



INTRODUCTION

In some circumstances, you may need to use a different version of PHP for specific domains. You can set a specific version of PHP using the MultiPHP Manager by following one of the procedures below.

PROCEDURE

Change the PHP version of one domain in WHM

  1. Log into WHM
  2. Navigate to MultiPHP Manager.
  3. In the "User Domains" section, locate your domain
  4. To the far right of your domain, in the PHP Version column, click the drop-down menu to select a PHP version for your domain.

Change the PHP version of multiple domains in WHM

  1. Log into WHM.
  2. Navigate to MultiPHP Manager.
  3. In the "User Domains" section, locate a domain you'd like to include and ensure the checkbox to the left is selected (Do this for each domain that requires the same PHP version.)
  4. In the top right of the "User Domains" section, click the drop-down menu for "Select PHP Version" and select the desired PHP version.
  5. Click the Apply button to change the PHP version of each of the selected domains to the selected PHP version.

Change the PHP version of one domain or multiple domains in cPanel

  1. Log into cPanel.
  2. Navigate to MultiPHP Manager.
  3. In the Set PHP Version per Domain section, use the search bar to search for your domain and then click the checkbox to the left of the domain name. (Do this for each domain that requires the same PHP version.)
  4. In the top right of the Set PHP Version per Domain section, click the drop-down menu next to PHP Version and select the desired PHP version.
  5. Click the Apply button to change the PHP version of each of the selected domains to the selected PHP version.
